NWÄR is the English pronunciation of the French word, “noir”, spelled out. Which of course means black.
NWÄR SKIN represents professional quality in skincare and 100% in packaging sustainability. Our goal is to prevent further climate damage and reduce the carbon footprint of the average beauty consumer.
We exist to inspire and create innovative solutions for sustainable beauty worldwide.
Of course not! The name NWÄR SKIN simply pays homage to our founder’s heritage. We intentionally only use ingredients safe for all tones, hues, and shades.

The SĒID™ film is a biodegradable, water-soluble strip that delivers skincare products directly to the user’s skin once dissolved. The strip is designed to eliminate the use of harmful, product packaging.

We don’t subscribe to an all-natural, organic, or vegan beauty status. We keep our focus on formulating products with ethically sourced, plant-based ingredients that are both healthy for your skin and safe for the planet.
Due to the waterless nature of our film technology, we’re proud to offer products free from preservatives and parabens. You’re getting only the good stuff with each and every use!
Nope! We proudly offer products free from sulfates and silicones.
Though there’s no Federal standard for “hypo-allergenic” and “non-comedogenic” product claims, our films have been formulated without the use of known skin-irritating ingredients. We always encourage users to check the product’s label and patch test prior to use. If you’re still not sure, consult with a doctor prior to purchase and use.
All NWÄR SKIN products are non-toxic, synthetic fragrance-free, paraben-free, and phthalate free. We’re committed to your skin’s health and the safety of our fragile planet.
Although most of our products do not contain gluten, none of our products are certified gluten-free. We always encourage users to check the product’s label and patch test prior to use. If you’re still not sure, consult with a doctor prior to purchase and use.
Certainly not! We respect our furry friends and hold them in our highest regard. We never test our products on animals.

Unverified reviews are shared by users during the SĒID™ film development process. Such users include, but are not limited to, the NWÄR STUDIOS clients, investors, beta testers, friends and family members of founder, Chandra Davis and avid fans of sustainable skincare.
Verified reviews are submitted by users who’ve purchased the SĒID™ film products after development and have consented to share the experience via a third party review site.
We originally named our products the UNICEUTICALS® film, but after years of development the product’s concept has morphed into what our founder, Chandra Davis, calls “a spiritually conscious hypothesis that challenges the status quo for all things beauty.”
A name change was not only necessary but fitting…
Unfortunately, we’d already printed the product boxes with the name UNICEUTICALS® on them before leadership decided on changing the product’s name to SĒID™. In an effort to prevent waste, we’ll continue to sell through the inventory with the original name. Once sold, our new boxes will have SĒID™ printed on the front.

SHIPPING + DELIVERY
Currently, we only ship within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as P.O. boxes.
Our shipping network uses USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL for an average shipping time of two (2) – five (5) days for standard economy. Expedited shipping is available for faster delivery.
If your bag doesn’t exceed the minimum $75 for free domestic shipping, there is a flat rate fee of $6.95 for standard shipping within the USA. Expedited shipping is available for faster delivery.
Of course! An email is sent with your tracking number once your items have been shipped. If you have not received this email within two (2) days after purchase, try checking your SPAM folder. If you still haven’t received this email, reach out to us via email at hello@nwarskin.com to investigate the issue further.
FOR SPECIAL DELIVERY REQUESTS: All delivery requests must be submitted to the carrier.
FOR ORDERS OVER $250: We require signature confirmation for delivery of any orders over $250. Please arrange delivery dates and times with the carrier to avoid missed connections.
FOR ORDERS MARKED DELIVERED: If your order has been marked as delivered but you still don’t have it, please verify the delivery address on your confirmation email and check commonly missed delivery areas such as back doors, garages, and gates. If you still don’t have it, reach out to the carrier and file a missing package claim. They will investigate the matter further. We cannot replace orders until it’s been confirmed missing.
FOR ORDERS MARKED UNDELIVERABLE: Orders marked as undeliverable by the carrier will be canceled and refunded once received and processed at our warehouse.

If your package arrived damaged, save the shipping box and the products and notify us immediately. We’ll arrange for the carrier to inspect the damage before replacing the damaged item(s).

RETURNS + EXCHANGES
We hope you’ll fall in love with our products, but if you’re not fully satisfied you may return them within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
Due to the nature of the SĒID™ film products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for items that have been opened or used. All item(s) must be returned in the original shipping box.

Yes! Carefully, pack your unopened item(s) in the NWÄR SKIN shipping box originally sent with your product(s). Please note, the use of any other type of shipping box or packaging may incur additional fees deducted from your refund.

We accept all major debit and credit cards, and online store credit. We cannot process multiple payment methods for a single order.

Nope! Our promotions are intended to engage our most loyal supporters. Any promotions offered will be redeemable once and available for a limited time, with a hard expiration date.
Promotions and offers cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, gifted, or exchanged for store credit. NWÄR SKIN reserves the right to change or rescind any promotional codes or offer at any time. Abuse of our promotions will result in the cancellation of your order.
SUSTAINABILITY
Biodegradable means that an object can decompose or be broken down naturally by other living organisms such as bacteria or fungi. In the case of our film products, biodegradation begins once the strips have been exposed to excessive moisture or water.
Our film products are formulated with ingredients that are biocompatible with your skin’s living tissue and won’t create a toxic response during use. They are sustainable because they’re made with renewable, plant-based materials and create zero waste after use or product expiry.

We’re a modern brand with forward-thinking leadership. The ingredients used for our products are derived from ethically sourced plant farms, production processes, manufacturing practices, and humane work environments.
Of course! Our film products are non-toxic and plumbing-safe. When exposed to water, our products will naturally biodegrade creating zero waste by-product.
Absolutely not! The SĒID™ film products are made with 100% plant-based, renewable materials and are free from PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) and other synthetic plastic-based materials.
Our product packaging is 100% recyclable and made from 65% post-consumer recycled paper.
To dispose of the SĒID™ film packaging, simply dump the box in the paper waste recycling bin after use.
Our product packaging is not compostable at this time.
Our shipping box is 100% recyclable and made from post-consumer recycled paper. The ink printed on the inside and outside of the box is made from algae ink.

While other brands boast product sustainability with “thoughtful” plastic packaging and rely heavily on consumer recycling efforts after use, we opted to take an innovative approach. The SĒID™ film products are made of 100% plant-based materials and stored in 100% paper-based packaging; free from plastics and other toxic synthetics.
